The department is a highly specialized inpatient unit of the MRH. Patients with pulmonary diseases such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pneumonia, bronchiectasis of the lungs, idiopathic fibrosing alveolitis, as well as patients with various allergic pathologies are treated here. Allergic diseases are manifested by various options: rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, urticaria, dermatitis, and food allergies and various medications.

Toxicological beds are intended for patients with drug poisoning, poisoning with poisons of animal origin (snake bite, karakurt, tarantula, scorpion), acetic essence, carbon monoxide, etc. Antidote therapy, enterosorption, detoxification, infusion therapy with forcing diuresis, HBO therapy, plasmaphoresis are carried out.

The therapeutic and diagnostic activities of the department are the differential diagnosis and therapy of diseases of the bronchopulmonary system, among which diseases with a violation of bronchial conduction are among the leading ones. The main diseases associated with impaired bronchial conduction are chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchial asthma (BA). The leading pathogenetic component of these diseases is the restriction of the flow of air during breathing, which the patient feels like shortness of breath and asphyxiation. The state of bronchial patency, that is, the degree of bronchial obstruction in COPD is the basis of her qualifications and determines the stage of the process, the rate of disease progression and the possibility of various complications. Therefore, the examination of patients in addition to mandatory routine laboratory tests also includes instrumental specific examination methods, such as spirography, diagnostic PBS, and peak flow measurements. The last method of examination is carried out directly in the department with the doctors of this department, in the asthma room. Thus, the following methods of diagnosis and treatment are provided in the department:

- clinical and biochemical

- immunological

- functional, radiological, endoscopic

- rehabilitation treatment (including neubluser therapy)

Also, for the purpose of timely monitoring and correction of treatment of patients with bronchial asthma, the department has an asthma office, where doctors of the department teach the correct use of inhalation therapy means and the use of individual nebulizers, as well as methods of self-control (peak flowmetry).

In the treatment of gastroenterological patients, the use of the injection form of the proton pump inhibitor Omez in the event of acute erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastroduodenal system in critical conditions reduces the risk of developing acute erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastroduodenal system.

The use of the injection form of the proton pump inhibitor "Omez" for bleeding from varicose veins of the esophagus on the background of cirrhosis of the liver. Improves the results of treatment of patients with bleeding, reduces the risk of recurrent bleeding.

In addition to the main medical activities, the doctors of the department take an active part in holding thematic conferences and seminars for doctors working in clinics on the issues of prevention, timely detection, diagnosis and treatment of patients with bronchopulmonary and allergic pathology; they advise districts of the region in telemedicine, and also, if necessary, travel to the districts by means of means of air navigation.
