The Rheumatology Department was opened in April 2026 and is a modern specialized unit providing highly qualified medical care to patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and systemic connective tissue diseases.

The department has 30 beds in a 24-hour hospital. The total number of staff is 29, including 4 rheumatologists, 13 nurses and 12 junior medical staff. All specialists have a high level of qualifications and regularly improve their professional knowledge.

Main areas of activity:

* diagnosis and treatment of rheumatological diseases;

* management of patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases;

* selection and correction of basic therapy;

* conducting infusion therapy;

* Dynamic monitoring.

The department treats the following diseases:

* rheumatoid arthritis;

* systemic lupus erythematosus;

Ankylosing spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis);

* dermatomyositis

* polymyositis

* systemic vasculitis;

* systemic scleroderma;

* other diseases of joints and connective tissue.

The department actively uses modern treatment methods, including genetically engineered biological therapy (GIBT), which effectively controls the course of diseases and improves the quality of life of patients.

The department operates in accordance with modern clinical guidelines and international standards. Doctors regularly undergo training and introduce new treatment technologies.
