Today, a scientific-practical conference on the topic "Current problems of the field of surgery" was held in the multidisciplinary regional hospital under the organization of the regional health department. The event was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Academician Bolatbek Bimendiuly Baimakhanov, Chairman of the Board of the National Scientific Surgery Center named after A.N.Syzganov JSC.

Secretary of the regional maslikhat Nauryzbai Baikadamov, veteran Turganbay Makhanov, head of the health department of the Turkestan region, Marat Pashimov, made a congratulatory speech at the conference. "Simultaneous laparoscopic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and morbid obesity", head of the surgery department of the Turkestan Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1, Jenis Sergazin, Ph.D., head of the department of surgery, anesthesiology-reanimation of A. Yasawi State University of Medical Sciences, presented his experience. Baurzhan Kuanyshbaev, freelance chief surgeon of Kyzylorda region, reported on the "Situation of surgery in Kyzylorda region".
