DEPARTMENT OF TRAUMATOLOGY
Saparov Aidos Darkhanovich
Head of Department
Highest category doctor
The department is deployed in 25 beds, located on the first floor of the clinic and has 13 wards, which are divided into one, two and three-bed rooms. Each chamber is equipped with a bathroom, shower, constant hot water. In the wards, the beds are functional, with individual light illumination. The Department of Traumatology is equipped with the necessary special equipment.
In the Department of Traumatology today, surgical interventions are performed on the musculoskeletal system, both in case of acute injury and their consequences. Also, surgical interventions are performed for patients with orthopedic pathology. The department has mastered the technique of minimally invasive intervention for injuries, such as closed intramedullary and extramedullary blocking osteosynthesis on almost all segments of the body's skeleton. The undoubted advantage of the method of blocking osteosynthesis is low invasiveness, low invasive surgical intervention, which is associated with extrafocal antegrade pin insertion without soft tissue exposure in the fracture area and subsequently significantly contributes to bone consolidation.
Introduction of a nail into the bone marrow canal away from the fracture site minimizes the risk of postoperative infectious complications (3-4%). Minimal blood loss during surgery and after surgery, a short time of surgery, the ability to carry out osteosynthesis of fractures in several places through a small incision. In the postoperative period, the patient walks the next day with crutches, without immobilization, which does not lead to post-traumatic contractures. The use of arthroscopic interventions on the knee joint has been widely initiated. A total endoprosthesis of the hip and knee joints is performed in the department, followed by the rehabilitation of the first and subsequent stages. For patients with polytrauma, core temporary fixation devices are used. The operating unit is equipped with an EOP (electron-optical converter) of Japanese production, an arthroscope of German production, various devices of transosseous osteosynthesis and intraosseous. There is a close relationship with the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, Astana, in order to consult patients and determine the tactics of further treatment.
