For the first time the organizational and methodological department was organized in 1963. The statistics department inherited the history of the organizational and methodological department of the regional hospital. The department has seven specialists who coordinate the provision of medical care to adults and children, the emergency medical care and the emergency medical service, free guaranteed medical care and paid services. Of the seven specialists - 2 with higher education, 5 with secondary medical - medical statistics with special training.

The main tasks of the statistics department are:

Organization and monitoring of the state of medical statistics, statistical records.

Collection and processing of medical and statistical information, ensuring the reliability of information in the accounting and reporting medical documentation.

Conducting medical and statistical analysis of information on the health status of the population and the activities of the Regional Medical Center, the implementation of special statistical developments.

Ensuring the compilation of periodic and annual statistical reports and their submission to the intended recipients in a timely manner.

Participation in the implementation of modern information technologies for processing medical and statistical data.

Providing organizational and methodological support for the Center’s activities in the “provision of high-tech medical care” section (recently, due to an increase in the volume of high-tech medical care, this area is one of the first places of activity).

Participation in the organization and preparation of international, regional medical and nursing conferences, meetings, seminars.

Preparation of materials for the passage of licensing for the stated activities.

Providing the structural units of the Center with samples of medical records.

Providing advice to staff of the Center for Medical Statistics.

Currently, all types of reporting are entered into databases and transmitted electronically.

Since January 1, 2012, the MRH Statistics Department has been working on information and technical support for the Unified National Health System.

The multidisciplinary regional hospital is equipped with computers and communication facilities, the department of medical statistics, all medical and auxiliary departments.

Standard programs for processing and analyzing statistical information in the department of medical statistics were introduced.

Created a computer network, all units are connected to the created computer network

Seminars, trainings for medical personnel are held.

The introduction of information technology requires certain costs. However, these costs are compensated after a certain period of time due to a decrease in the number of workers while at the same time improving the quality and complexity of the tasks being accomplished.
