The department provides round-the-clock specialized care to newborns born to pregnant women with extragenital pathology (premature, born in critical condition). Also in the districts, newborns in need of specialized care are provided with medical care through medical aviation. Neontologists of the multidisciplinary regional hospital provide continuous curatorial care according to the district schedule (Shieli, Zhanakorgan districts).
