Cardiology department №1 is one of the core departments of the cardiology center of the multidisciplinary regional hospital, which is able to provide specialized inpatient emergency care to categories of patients with D/C: Acute coronary syndrome without elevation and with ST segment elevation, in patients with acute, acute and subacute stage, taking into account the requirements of modern clinical cardiology.

The Cardiology Department provides a full cycle of examination and treatment of patients, including laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, inpatient treatment. In the case of acute conditions, our patients can count on emergency hospitalization, and carrying out various interventional interventions, such as urgent coronary angiography, angioplasty, coronary artery stenting.

The cardiology department consists of a hospital with 45 beds, including 6 beds in the intensive care unit. The whole complex of laboratory diagnostics, including the determination of the level of troponin I and D-dimer, and instrumental diagnostics, including ECG, echocardiography, X-ray and ultrasound examination methods, can be carried out quickly. In the department there is an opportunity for diagnostic transesophageal echocardiography. If there is evidence, it is possible to have emergency coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty and coronary artery stenting.

The main areas of work of the cardiology department are:

• treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, progressive angina pectoris, including

• emergency coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty and stenting of the coronary arteries and subsequent full-fledged comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation;

• preparation for endovascular surgery: balloon angioplasty and coronary artery stenting;

• patient preparation for coronary artery bypass surgery;
