Cardiology Department No. 1 is one of the specialized departments of the cardiology center of a multidisciplinary regional hospital, capable of providing specialized inpatient emergency care to categories of patients with acute coronary syndrome without elevation and with ST segment elevation, patients with acute, acute and subacute myocardial infarction, taking into account the requirements of modern clinical cardiology.

The Cardiology department provides a full cycle of examination and treatment of patients, including laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, inpatient treatment. In case of acute conditions, our patients can expect emergency hospitalization and various interventional procedures, such as urgent coronary angiography, angioplasty, and coronary artery stenting.

The cardiology department consists of an inpatient department with 55 beds. The entire range of laboratory diagnostics can be performed promptly, including determination of the level of troponin I and D-dimer, and instrumental diagnostics, including ECG, echocardiography, X-ray and ultrasound examination methods. The department has the opportunity to perform diagnostic transesophageal echocardiography. If indicated, emergency coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty, and coronary artery stenting may be performed. The main areas of work of the cardiology department are: •treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, and progressive angina, including emergency coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty, and coronary artery stenting, followed by comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation; •preparation for endovascular surgical procedures: balloon angioplasty and coronary artery stenting; •preparation of patients for aorto-coronary bypass surgery; In addition to highly professional medical care, the cardiology department has created the most comfortable conditions for stay: single, double, and triple rooms with a bathroom and shower. The staff of Cardiology Department No. 1 has extensive experience in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular pathology. The extensive diagnostic (laboratory and instrumental) base of the Regional Medical Center makes it possible to establish an accurate diagnosis in the shortest possible time, and the interaction of cardiologists and doctors of other specialties (oculists, neurologists, endocrinologists, surgeons, etc.) is the key to successful treatment and a favorable prognosis. The close cooperation of the cardiology department with the Department of X-ray surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment, cardiac surgery, cardiac intensive care and cardiac rehabilitation departments allow us to obtain good results.Our main task is to provide our patients with highly qualified and effective medical care.
